RV Parts & Accessories

If you’re thinking about an RV trip, you’ll need to get the right type of RV. There are so many different options, requiring different RV parts and RV accessories. To make sure you have the right one, here’s a look at how each one differs.

The Motorhome

There are three motorhomes: Class A, Class B, and Class C. Motorhomes are basically a home on wheels that has a motor and isn’t pulled behind a vehicle. The Class B looks very much like a van with a raised roof. The Class C is slightly larger, and has a trailer roof that goes over the top of the driver roof. The Class A is the luxury, coach-style motorhome, designed for full-time living. Class C motorhomes can offer some of the luxurious benefits of Class A, but on a slightly smaller scale at a more affordable price tag.

The Fifth Wheel

A fifth wheel RV is one that attaches to another van or truck. It has a raised section at the front and offers one of the largest living area sections. There’s even a slide out section for the bedroom, and is one of the most preferred for those RVing full-time. You will need a special truck for pulling this type.

The Trailer

A travel trailer is the most commonly sold RV type throughout the world. They are compact but still offer plenty of living space, and are affordable for those wanting to live in one full-time. It is very easy to hitch one to a car and travel, or they can be left stationary in a trailer park. There is usually only enough room for one bedroom, with a living and dining area at the other end of the trailer.

These are your most common types of RVs around, with the main differences for them. Now it’s up to you which one you’d prefer for your RV life.
