As part of the Daimler-Chrysler Corp.’s vehicles, the two most popular models are the Jeep Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee. There are many good reasons why these models have long been two of the most popular SUVs on the market. Jeeps have a proven reputation for robust, dependable and capable off-road passenger vehicles. Its history begins very far, more than sixty years, when Willys began to produce civil versions of the ubiquitous four-wheeled army mule; Known as GI Jeep. Willys’ first model closely resembles his modern protégé, the Wrangler.
